DescriptionPeter hands over to William for the term of the latter's life for one mark of silver, which William gave to Peter; three acres of arable land lying in Norton Heath between the lands of the said Peter, and of Geoffrey Ernald of Norton and extends in length towards the field of Austrey to the boundary which divides the field of Austrey from Norton Heath - 3 acres which Reginald held at the head of the township of Austrey for the term of his life

The term begins on Sunday next after the feast of Apostles Saints Peter and Paul in the year of the reign of King Edward 22nd-24th July 1294. Annual rent from William to Peter of three shillings at 2 times of the year - at the feast of Blessed Mary in March 18d; at the feast of St. Michael the Archangel 18d [25 Mar; 29 Sept] for all secular service and demands. After the decease of the said William the 3 acres of land return to the said Peter or his heirs.
