Title
Notification to [initial erased], Bishop of Lincoln, by Ralph of Seale of his confirmation of the gift by Ralph Gresley, made to Merevale Abbey of a carucate of land which he held from the said Ralph of Seale at an annual rent of two shillings. He makes this confirmation with consent of his lord, William, Earl Ferrers, and of Ralph his own heir, and for the souls of himself, his heirs, and of his lord, Robert, Earl Ferrers, and gifts to the Abbey pasture for 100 sheep and 12 beasts, taken from his Seale property
