Gift by Ralph son of Ralph of Seale to the Church St Mary of Merevale and the monks of perpetual service for the soul of the grantor and his ancestors of Nigel son of Walter with all chattels and one virgate of land which Nigel holds with a toft and a croft which belongs to the same virgate and with a toft where the house of Nigel is situated, which was once the land of the bordar with his wife and their children for all secular service customary and in charge except for foreign service
