Description
Thomas Chetwinde of Denson (co. Staffs), gentleman, and Walter Chetwinde of Grendon (co. Warwick), gentleman, to John Hanson of Ilam (in the said county, that is, Staffs). All of a certain messuage in Taddington, with lands, etc., belonging, two parts of which messuage of twenty shillings yearly value (once parcel of Margaret Madeley's property, but forfeited to the King for recusancy) were granted by royal letters patent to one, George Chambers, for a twenty-one year lease, and assigned by the leasee to Walter Chetwinde for the remainder of the term; for 21 years for a sum of money and 1d rent.
