At the end of the book: 'Copy of the Commission' being Letters of attorney of George, Earl of Cumberland and Francis Clifford, esq., make Thomas Denton and John Briske, esquires and Anthonie Wrighte and Thomas Brokden their lawful attorneys, to bargain, convey and sell all their manors, lordships, houses etc., within the County of Derby (late the lands of Sir Ingram Clifford), 4 Jun 1584
