Description
Edward Barber of Rowleighe (co. Derby), yeoman, and Jane Savage of Netherhall (co. Derby), widow, to Thomas Yeveley, the elder of the Chappell in Le firth, yeoman. The mansion house called Nether Hall, with houses, gardens, closes, commons, etc. (except crabtrees and ashes), and the watermill called the Nether hall mill with the sooke of all the tenants, leased by Thomas Eyre, late of Hope, to Humfrey Savage, by indenture of 16th March, 1586/7, for twenty one years, at the yearly rent of forty shillings; for £80, for the remainder of forty shillings; for £80, for the remainder of the term.
