Description
Thomas Eyre of Hope, gentleman, agrees with Robert Eyre of Edall, gentleman, Thurstan Bamforth of Alfreton, gentleman and John Roper of Turndyche, yeoman, to levy a fine, in consideration of his marriage to Alice, daughter of John Roper, his now wife. Of the manor of Thornell, six messuages, five cottages, two hundred acres of land, etc., in Thornell, Aston, Kynges Haughe and Lowcyll Edge, all which property was mortgaged to Thurstan Bamforth and others, but is now redeemed; to stated uses.
