Title
William Barker from Smyrna to the ex’tors of the Reverend Mr. M. Charlesworth of Halifax, (directed to John Barker esq., Ashford Hall, near Bakewell): since William is not allowed to take possession of the £2,000 left him by Mr. Charlesworth, as it is hypothecated on the Yedick or goodwill of his house, he requests ex’ors to confirm their former agent Mr. George Perkins, and send him the money to lend out at Smyrna and pay the interest to William, to maintain his family in accordance with testator’s idea. A/22.
