Release and confirmation by Richard Buxton of Carsington, yeoman, to Sir John Gell of Hopton and Francis Clay the younger of Hill (North Wingfield par) yeoman of 2 cottages and a yard called the Netheryard at Carsington (tenants John Brough and Bennett Tissington, widow) with 2 beast gates in the pastures called the Highfield and Sotheraye, the Hill, the Breake and the Costle or Costhill, in trust to sell the same, after the death of Buxton, to raise money for the payment of legacies under his will. Dated 1 Jul 1684
