DescriptionSettlement upon the marriage of Hannah Glazebrook Pearson, daughter of Thomas Pearson of South Wingfield, decd, and John Manners of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, B. A. Hannah conveys to John Booth of Nottingham and John Allen of Study House, Bonsall, gent, a moiety of a dwelling house and workshop at South Wingfield, erected upon land allotted to Edward Harvey by the in-closure award with the westward part of the said allotment now used as a garden and of a garden at the east end of the workshop, a close known as the Pingle at the nether end of Church Lane (1/2 acre) (tenant Robert Hawksley), a plot of newly inclosed land (25 perches), laid to the said Pingle, with a moiety of £700 Old South Annuities, upon trusts to the use of Hannah until the marriage, then upon trust to pay the income to Hannah to her own use for life, then to pay the same to John Manners for life, and after his decease upon trust to assign the estate to such persons as Hannah may direct by deed or will and for default to such direction, to be divided between the children of Hannah and John 24 & 25 Oct 1834. Endorsed with assignment by Hannah Glazebrook Manners, wife of Rev John Manners of Sheffield, (Yorkshire), to their children John Maxfield Manners and Ellen Eliza Mary Manners and any other children, of the trust estates etc as above, after the death of Hannah and John 15 May 1844
