Title
Conveyance by Rev. William Hey of York, canon, Rev. Samuel Hey of Sawley, clerk and William Gray of York, gent. (devisee of Rev. Samuel Hey of Ockbrook, (decd), to Shepley Watson of York, surgeon whereas Rev. Samuel Hey devised to Rev. William Hey, Rev. Samuel Hey and William Gray, his farm at Risley, in trust to sell with proviso that Rev. William Hey should have first option and whereas the said William is desirous of purchasing the same, in consideration of £2, 370, of a dwelling house and outbuildings erected upon Bolton close at Risley, a close known as Topnall Close (28 acres 2 roods 14 perches), being now divided into several closes known as the Barn Close (15 acres 2 roods1 perch), Lower Topnall (6 acres 1 rood 6 perches), Upper Topnall (5 acres 1 rood 34 perches), Ash Spinney (1 rood 13 perches) and the Milking Pew (2 roods 14 perches), and also a close (11 acres 1 rood 15 perches) consisting of the east half ofBreath Close and which is now divided into the Willow Spinney (14 perches), the other Willow Spinney (32 perches), and Bottom Close (10 acres 3roods 7 perches), in the tenure of Rev. William Hey for life and then to Emily, his wife, for her life, with remainder to the right heirs of William. 5 Dec
