Manila folder containing material used in the 1971 exhibition labelled Samuel Simpson, copy will, executorship accounts, various other papers including surveys and valuations as above containing list of Arkwright securities 1844, Richard Arkwright Junior estate duty accounts and bills, sundry papers, and Cromford Canal estate papers. Includes letter dated May 1806 from Devonshire House which probably relates to the Georgiana (Duchess of Devonshire) debt to Richard Arkwright Junior.

Folded papers relating to the estate of Peter Arkwright Esquire and legacy to Mr & Mrs John Clowes. Included in this bundle receipt from Francis Hurt dated 1802 for the sum of £5,000.00 received under the will of Sir Richard Arkwright bequeathed to the wife of Francis Hurt, Elizabeth Hurt, as one of the children of his son Richard Arkwright Esquire, to be paid on her attaining the age of 21 or being married.
File marked Troy Laundry, 1911, includes laundry lease and Rose Cottage lease.
Manila Record Office file - exhibition material 1971 - Sir Richard Arkwright as Sheriff includes account paid to Adam Woolley 1787 for various legal services, much of the business unrelated to Sir Richard as Sheriff.
