Copy probate of James Milward of Upper Thurvaston, farmer, to his wife, Hannah, all his property at Nether Thurvaston, two cottages at Hollington, a cottage and wheelwright’s shop at Long Lane and 7 acre land called Tomlinpits at Osliston and Thurvaston, with all his household goods and other chattels, to be held until his son James Milward is 21 and then the cottage and wheelwright’s shop at Long Lane to Hannah and the remainder to James, to his daughter Ann Milward, £100; to his daughter Jane Milward, £100; to his daughter Dorothy Goodwin, £100; to his daughter Hannah Milward, £100.
