Description | Lease and release by Samuel Buardsell of Derby cooper, to Thomas Bainbrigge of Derby, esq., (reciting purchase by John Buardsell and Mary his wife of David Stenson, cordwainer, and Rebecca his wife (grandaughters and devisees of Rachel Bayley) of a moiety of a messuage, barn and garden in St Peter’s parish, in consideration of £31 10s paid by Thomas Borrow and mortgage of the premises to Borrow in consideration of the said £31 10s., and of a further £28 10s (1765) and reciting conveyance of the premises by John Buardsell to Samuel Buardsell in consideration of £40 and reciting transfer of mortgage by Thomas Borrow, deceased, to George Palmer of Derby, gardener, in consideration of £60 with further mortgage of £40 (1803), in consideration of a covenant by Bainbrigge to discharge the mortgage debt of £100 and of an annuity of £27 6s., to be paid to Buardsell, of the equity of redemption of the said messuage, barn and garden with all other buildings since erected on the premises 24/5 Jul |
