Archive CreatorBrook Street Methodist Chapel, Derby
Administrative HistoryBrook Street Chapel was founded in 1802 as a General Baptist Chapel, before being sold to the Wesleyan Reformers in 1862, later becoming part of the Methodist Church from 1932 onwards. The final service at the Chapel was held on 5 May 2002.
Custodial HistoryThese records were donated to Derbyshire Record Office by the former Chapel Archivist and Secretary in December 2011. The roll of honour D7528/14/1) was donated via the Midland Railway Trust in June 2021.
