DescriptionBetween Daniel Parker Coke of Derby esq, Abraham Hoskins the younger of Bladon Wood, Burton-on-Trent, esq, Sir Henry Every of Egginton, Bart., Abraham Hoskins the elder of Burton-on-Trent, gent, John Fowler of Burton- on-Trent, gent, John Pearsall of Repton, butcher, reciting an indenture of 12 July 1782, by which Sir Edward Every (father of Sir Henry Every) demised to Coke, Hoskins and Fowler several closes in Newton Solney for 1000 years to raise the annual sum of £500 for Dame Mary Every for life, also the will of Sir Edward Every (1785) and the Act of Parliament for vesting the inheritance in fee of part of the settled estates of Sir Henry Every in trustees, by which Coke and Hoskins, in consideration of £4208. 15. 11d., have released to John and William Pearsall, Broad Marsh (in 3 closes), 8 acres 2 roods 11 perches, Breach Flatt 5 acres 1 rood 13 perches, Powls Breach, 6 acres 2 roods 36 perches, The Breach, 6 acres 0 roods 28 perches, Rea Cross, 7 acres 1 rood 34 perches, The Lurker, 2 acres 3 roods 08 perches, Sandlands, 2 acres, 3 roods, 28 perches, Sandlands, 3 acres 2 roods 17 perches, Crossway, 2 acres 3 roods 26 perches ( with barn erected), Crossway, 3 acres 2 roods 03 perches, Dastall, 2 acres 0 roods 37 perches, Crossway, 7 acres 2 roods 28 perches, Great Crossway (with barns), 8 acres 1 rood 37 perches.
