Description
Abstract of a tenancy agreement 14 October 1851 between William Power of Freazeley, Warwickshire, gent, and John Marbrow of Newton Solney, farmer, for 3 closes in Newton Solney, 15 acres 2 roods (no names given). To be held from year to year. Rent £40 a year. £50 per acre additional rent for management contrary to the covenants. Not to plough any closes in grass at the commen-cement of the term. Fallow for turnips the close in cultivation with the proper quantity of manure. Repeat every 4th year. Other husbandry covenants as D737/E/6. (From a bundle relating to D737/T/13-23)
