Abstract of title of the trustees for sale under the will of William Goodall decd to a close of land situated at Newton Solney beginning with conveyance of 29 October 1842, between Ann Bladon of Newton Regis, Warwickshire, spinster, Francis Bladon of Birmingham, gardener, and Elizabeth his wife, John James Bladon of Orton House, Merevale, Leicestershire, farmer, and Elizabeth his wife, John Hawkins of Burton-on-Trent, stamp distributor and William Goodger of Burton-on-Trent, grocer, reciting lease and marriage settlement of 12/13 December 1781 between Francis Bladon of Repton, farmer, James Matthews of Repton, gent, Anne Matthews his daughter, spinster, Charles Matthews of Repton, surgeon and apothecary, by which, in consideration of marriage of Francis Bladon to Anne Matthews, Bladon released to Charles Matthews, messuage in Repton and the Meadow 4a, the Breaches 2a 3r in Newton Solney.
