| Description | Mortgage by demise between Robert Milward of Alsop in the Dale, gentleman, son and heir of Robert Milward, gentleman, fourth son of Sir Thomas Milward, late of Eaton. Whereas Robert Milward the son is lawfully entitled to a third part of a certain plantation in Virginia as son and heir to the said Robert Milward, deceased, who was entitled to the same in the right of Isabella his wife now deceased, eldest daughter of Sir John Zouch late of Virginia, knight, deceased, which the said Sir John Zouch was owner and was seized and possessed of the said plantation by virtue of certain letters patents and the great seal of England granted to him in the time of the Reign of the late sovereign Lord King Charles I. Demised, granted etc to Henry Milward all that his third part of all that plantation in Virginia commonly called Rocksdale containing by estimation 10,000 acres and also all houses, buildings, barns, stables, meadows etc belonging to the plantation.
