Barometer and thermometer readings, wind direction and rain observations; total numbers of beds and patients, with sub-totals of patients currently on trial, private, out-county, confined to bed, suicidal; summary of admissions and discharges (including names). Also including occasional notes on e.g. staff absences, names of deceased patients due for autopsy
At front of volume: programmes for patients' ball, 2 Jan (performance of a farce, "The Virginian Mummy", followed by dancing) and Mr Walker's concert party, 13 Feb. Examination paper for Nursing Certificate. Results of Sports Day, 11 Jun.
At rear: lists of improving patients, male nursing staff, female nursing staff, steward's staff, housekeeper's staff and engineer's staff.
