Description
Order for John Cragg Fryer to be admitted to the Derby County Borough Mental Hospital under the 1890 Lunacy Act. Includes Statement of Particulars and Certificate of Medical practitioner.
Patient's name, sex, age, marital status, profession, religion, and address are noted. Details of mental health problem and reasons for admission follow. Cause of admission stated as due to 'War Service' (? WWI) and a description of the patient's behaviour indicating 'insanity' also given.
