Administrative History
This Society was founded in about 1957. By the time of its 1963 annual general meeting, it was known as the Long Eaton Operatic Society, but it had earlier been called the Long Eaton High Street Schools (with Grange) Old Scholars' Gilbert and Sullivan (Amateur) Operatic Society.
