| Description | The employees have been grouped in terms of the department they worked in for the Strutt mills at both Belper and Milford. A number of the workers appear in more than one photograph and have been identified using employee records for the mills. There is only one photograph with a date (Oct 1896), the rest have all been stamped as 20 Nov 1896, which according to research done by Belper North Mill volunteers, is possibly the date the images arrived at the mill works office.
