Title	Belper Mill watchmen’s weekly examiners' report book

Description	Numbered 5 on front. The examiner’s weekly report of watching on the tellers of the clocks, lamps, water levels and the names of those who came and went over the Bridge. Book signed weekly by W. Bamford. Note on front cover says the height of the circular weir has been raised by 7 inches in 1838 and the top gate were put in at the bridge in May 1840. Covering dates of volume: Jul 1836 to Jul 1842. [A further such volume covering 1842-1843 can be found under reference D5917/1] Labelled 65 on front cover and first page, later numbered O1/205.
