Title
Belper Mill Day School girls register of wages [probably being paid by Poor Law Guardians]
Date
Jun 1874-Dec 1874
Description
A register of individuals at Belper Mil school whose daily attendance is noted and wages paid quarterly. There are references to folios in spinning ledgers and cashbooks. [The half day pupils listed here also appear in the school certificate book and are marked G instead of having a wage book reference. The remaining names are not listed in the school wage books (sub-series D6948/J/3/12 -14) and in most cases admission registers entries record the parent as dead. This suggests that the Poor Law guardians are paying these wages.
Labelled 153 on first page of entries, later labelled O1/268. Covers (paper) detached.
