Administrative History
Repton first had a day school for the parish in 1827. This was suitably enlarged in 1879, to give accomodation for 243 in the mixed school and 129 in the infants' section. The school was originally owned by the Governors of the John Port Charity. The present Repton Primary School is in Springfield Road and caters for children aged 4 to 11 years.
