Lease for 99 years by William, Earl of Harrington to Charles Roe and Robert Hodson of Macclesfield, gents., Bryan Hodson of Ashburn, Rowland Atkinson of Macclesfield, John Walker of Liverpool, [Lancashire] Joseph Stockdale of St Martin in the Fields, [London] and Cookson Atkinson of Kendal, (Westmorland), gents., of part of Key Green tenement in manor of Basley [Bosley] (Cheshire) with licence to erect works, mill, cut timber, dig clay, build weirs in river Daven, and turn road from Key Green to Linford Bridge. Endorsed with schedule of 221 oak trees with length and cross-sectional areas (to be valued for separate payment).
