Administrative History | The Derbyshire Science Centre, based at Matlock College of Education, opened in September 1971 as a specialist facility providing lectures and courses for science teachers. The committee running the centre included the County Science Adviser, a warden (seconded from a school for one day per week) and practising teachers and college lecturers. The papers contained in this collection include minutes of committee meetings and regular termly reports, as well as articles about the Centre by lecturers A T Dronsfield and D C Gaskell. |
