Including: names of churchwardens for various years, 1575-1634; notes of visitations 1586-1607; statement by Matthew Waddington, vicar of Chesterfield, of the rights of the church of Chesterfield in the chapels of Brampton, Wingerworth and Whittington, and the out-townships of Brimington, Calow, Tapton, Temple Normanton, Hasland, Boythorpe, Walton, Hulne, Holme, Dunston, Langley, Newbold and Brearley. Accompanied by a glebe terrier. Refers to a Star Chamber decree 11 Nov 1631 in case of Leech against Foljambe and Waddington
