Description	Section of the CHPR that was abandoned on the 25 June 1892 between Shallcross and Ladmanlow. The view is taken from the later 1856 alignment, which replaced the earlier 1831 contour alignment seen in the background severed by a tributary of Wildmoorstone Brook. View looking northwest SK 031747. The old alignment still has stone sleepers in situ.
