| Description | View up Bunsall Incline, formerly two separate inclines, the lower 455 yards length at 1:7, the upper 660 yards length at 1:7½. The photograph is taken from the point where the two inclines met by the enginman's house on the right (subsequently demolished). In June 1857 the two inclines were combined into one. See D6367/1/221. |
