Description
The stone terraced housing of Bingswood Cottages, George Street, with the stone paved track of the Print Works Branch partially visible from below the tarmac running down the middle of the street, looking SW towards the former CHPR wharf buildings (see 0525). This line has the sharp curve to the left in front of the wharf buildings to connect with the CHPR, but also crosses the main line at 90° to enter the southern end of the Peak Forest Canal transhipment shed (see 0525).
