Description
Bucolic scene as LNER "B1" 4-6-0 61158 approaches in the "up" direction from Sheffield via the Woodhead line and Buxton with the seven coach Cromford & High Peak Rail Tour towards Parsley Hay Station. The "B1" after disgorging passengers returned to Buxton to descend the Midland to High Peak Junction to await its passengers at the opposite end of the CHPR. The view is taken from the minor road from Parsley Hay to Custard Field, to the west of the station looking north.
