TitleLongcliffe Goods
Date1967
DescriptionGeneral view from the loading wharf in the up direction over the goods yard, some two months before closure. By this time it would appear that through traffic only was using the route, as the loop line looks clearly out of use. The goods shed still has an old hand barrow outside, but the three brackets for the fire buckets no longer have buckets! Hoe Grange Quarry can again be seen in the background. In front of the quarry the small building was used as a platelayers' hut, the sleepers across the loop line were to assist in re-railing the platelayers' trolley.
