Title
Sheep Pasture Top
Date
1966
Description
Another view of 47006 at the site of the engine shed above the ash pit at Sheep Pasture Top. As mentioned with the previous photograph, this loco was replaced by 47000 on the 2nd November 1965. This would suggest the date above is suspicious. Another reference shows 47006 in August 1966, did it come back? 47006 went into store at Cromford on 2nd November 1965, nominally as a spare engine to 47000, so it might have been used at a later stage when 47000 was undergoing servicing or maintenance.
