Title
Verney miscellaneous note book
Date
c1920s-1934
Description
Contains various notes and essays. Includes an account of the funeral service of Sir. Andrew Clark (1893), an essay about George V's Coronation (1911). There are also three attached letters. Two appear to be from Maude Verney to Florence Nightingale. The third is to 'F' from 'H.V.' - possibly to Frederick Verney from Harry Verney. The author of the volume is unclear but is likely to have been Maude Verney nee Williams (1847-1937) or a close member of her family.
