Administrative History | The original school at Old Brampton was built about 1830 and was attached to St Peter and St Paul, Old Brampton. It seems to have been established formally as a National School in 1882. However, the school was taken over by the Brampton and Walton School Board in 1885. A new school was built at Wigley in 1895 to allow children from surrounding villages and farms to attend. In 1947 it becames a junior and infant school, later a primary school. |
