| Administrative History | The first school appears to have been built in 1843. It is known as Sale and Davy's School after two benefactors. In 1876 Sir John Harpur Crewe gave a site for the erection of a National School. Following an academy conversion agreement dated 28 April 2022 (see DCC/LG/CX/3792), Sale and Davy's Church of England Primary School ceased to exist, being replaced by an academy. |
| Custodial History | This collection comprises a single accession, deposited in Derbyshire Record Office on 15 March 2004. Ownership passed to Derbyshire County Council when the school ceased to exist. |
