| Description | Reciting an indenture dated 22 October 1746 between (1) Mary, the widow of John Nevill of Nottingham, Esq., and John, the eldest son and heir at law of the said John Nevill by the said Mary, and (2) George Langford Nevill of Mosborrow [Mosborough], Derbyshire, gentleman, and Alexander Burdon of Nottingham, gentleman; - by which the remainder of a term of 500 years in lands called Black Mires and other hereditaments at Darley Dale was vested in (2) under trusts and reciting the inclosure award of 6° George III for Darley Common so far as it concerns these, and reciting that the said G. L. Nevill outlived the said A. Burdon and then died intestate and that his widow, Dorothy Nevill, took letters of administration but died before administering the same, and reciting that Joseph Alsop of Darley, gentleman, became entitled to the said lands, and by his proxy has appointed James Milnes of Matlock, gentleman, to take out letters of administration to act as trustee, which is hereby confirmed 17 Apr 1821 |
