| Title | Copy (extracted 28 Jul 1828) of the parcels of the property mentioned in the indenture of release of this date tripartite between (1) John Neville of Nottingham, gentleman; (2) Mary Allsop of Matlock, spinster; and (3) George Langford of Nottingham, gentleman, and Robert Greensmith of Chesterfield, Esq.; - being the marriage settlement of John Neville, by which (1) releases to (3) specified properties at Gunthorpe, Lowdham, the fields of Nottingham, St Mary's Parish in Nottingham, Angel Row in Nottingham (the residence of (1)), St James's Lane in Nottingham, and Eastwood, all in the county of Nottingham; - and (2) releases to (3) Rough Close (occupied by Gilbert Pidcock), Flint Meadow (occupied by William Heath), Hole Meadow (occupied by Benjamin Hurd), and Black Mires (occupied by Robert Heath), all being in the Parish of Darley Dale, and also the reversion of (2) after the death of her mother, Bathsheba Allsop, and the water corn mill and Kiln and close called Wharney, all in the Libert of Darley and bequeathed by her late husband, Josiah Allsop, and all other the properties of (2) 28 Dec 1723 |
