Petition of the inhabitants of Wirksworth to Robert, Earl of Buckingham, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, asking that the Moot Hall be rebuilt elsewhere as it is in a ruinous condition and is an obstruction to traffic in the Market Place [Robert, Earl of Buckingham, was Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in 1805 and again in 1812]
