Administrative HistoryThis collection comprises transcripts of lead mining records and nineteenth century guides to lead mining, with notes from various articles and books, in particular John Farey, General View of the Agriculture and Minerals of Derbyshire, 3 vols (1811-1817). There are also a few small traced maps of lead mining in Derbyshire. The notes were compiled by Mr H Masters. Unless otherwise stated, the research papers are typescript.
