Administrative History
The Midland Hotel was built in Midland Road near to Derby Station, to serve the interests of the users of the Midland Railway Company. It was one of the hotels in the Midland Hotel Service, which later became the LMS Hotel Service.
Custodial History
The records were transferred by the British Railway Record Centre to Derbyshire Record Office in February 2002.
