John Sheyll of Burton super Trent gives to Thomas Tapperto of Stapenhull [Stapenhill] one acre of arable land in the fields of Stapenhull lying between lands of Lord William Pagett and lands of John Jacson, and abutting on Bodmorebroke
Witnesses: Hugo Schep' of Stapenhull, John Jacson of the same place, John Potkyn of Burton super Trent,
[remainder added in a different hand] John Hor' of Stanton Ward and others; dated at Stapenhill Monday before the feast of St George 39 Hen VIII [there is no such regnal year; uncompleted medieval deed used for a different purpose, 16th cent]
