William son of John Tapperto of Stapenhull [Stapenhill] gives to John Taplady and his wife Alic', one messuage in Stapenhull which Eda Ernald formerly held and which lies between his own [Tapperto's] lands and which abuts on the King's Way
Rent: annual payments of 12 pence of silver and a 'gallina' [hen-rent ].
Witnesses: Roger de Greysly, John de Lucy, William de C[ ] and Nicholas de P[ ]
Dated at Stapenhull Friday after feast of St George 36 Edw III
