Description
John le Webbe of Stapenhull [Stapenhill] gives to John son of John Tapperto and his wife Margery, one messuage and land in Stapenhull which he had of the gift and feoffment of William de Stapenhull, lying between lands of John de Stapenhull on one side and the King's Way on the other
To be held for the service of one rose on the feast of the nativity of John the Baptist
Witnesses: Richard son of John de Stapenhull, William Vincent, Ralph de Handesacre, Robert de Lucy, Robert de Ilkeston and others
Dated at Stapenhull Monday after feast of St Matthew the apostle 18 Edw III [1 Mar or 27 Sep 1344]
