Doris Wragg, later Rankin (1920-1999) was the first Derbyshire schoolgirl to win an English Schools Championship in July 1934. She was later secretary of the Derbysh1952ire Ladies Amateur Athletics Association and girls organiser for Chesterfield Cycling and Athletics Club. |
