Title
Lease and release by George Farewell esquire, of Brenley (county Kent) to Thomas Wright, gentleman, of Sheffield, of capital messuage called Romeley and 2 other messuages in Woodhouse Lane, with lands(265 acres, by tenant) that were leased to Wright by Margaret Boys and subsequently mortgaged on 22 Feb. 1667/8, which mortgage is assigned by Emanuel Langford to Joshua Galliard in trust to attend the inheritance of these lands conveyed to Wright;
judgement obtained by Dame Elizabeth Routh against Francis Routh in Michaelmas Term 1668 for £600 debt and 90s costs is also assigned in trust for Wright; consideration of £1643 to Emanuel Langford, doctor in divinity and £1057 to George Farewell.
