Description
Reciting mortgage of 22 Feb. 1667/8 and marriage settlement of 6 March 1676/7 between Margaret Chaplin, William Parmee, and Francis Harvey, since deceased and Roger Kerrington, by which, in consideration of a marriage between Margaret and William, Margaret assigned above mortgage to Francis in trust for Margaret, and reciting also lease and release of 6/7 Nov. 1696 [D547M/T33], now, in consideration of £1600, the principal due on the mortgage, paid by Emanuel Langford to John Thrale, mortgaged lands in Derbys. and part of those in Kent, are assigned to Langford, rest of mortgaged lands in county Kent are assigned to William Deedes, together with lands in county Yorks., Margaret Boys paying Langford 5% per annum on £1600 principal, and to occupy lands until makes default in payment.
