(by name and tenant), descended to Margaret by force of will of Sir John Routh, her father, and by death of Cicilia Hay, her sister, in trust to discharge debts of John Farewell esquire, deceased, residue to use of John Farewell, son of John Farewell gentleman, for ever

Description
Recites that all Sir John Routh's estates in Kent, Derbys. and Yorks. were possessed by Francis Routh, his son, and were devised by Sir John in remainder to Margaret Boys, Cicilia Hay and Dorothy Farewell, and that Francis mortgaged lands to Richard Chaplin, citizen and haberdasher of London, for £1600 on 22 Feb. 1667 [receipt D547M/T32];
Margaret covenants that mortgage is on lands in Kent and Derbys., not Yorks.
